Dover Heights Shule, located on the corner of Blake and Napier Streets, will be holding a fundraiser on Saturday, the 7th of April 2019. Dubbed ‘Better Together,’ the aim of this activity is to raise $360,000 to help with the school’s programs.
The fundraiser will start at 10:00 a.m. and will run for 24 hours. Dover Heights Shule sponsors will match $4 for every $1 donation coming from the public. These donations are tax deductible.
Dover Heights Shule has daily Shabbat & Yom Tov services for the community to benefit families who are practising Judaism. According to Australian Bureau of Statistics, Dover Heights has around 48.5 percent Jews.
The centre also actively organizes programs and Shiur lessons for the youngsters. Thus, it’s vital that these programs be sustained with the proper funding.
Dover Heights Shule is recognized by the New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies, the duly elected representative body of the NSW Jewry.
