Environment Week 2022
As the Environment Captains of Rose Bay Secondary College, we truly believe in the importance of educating and spreading awareness, which inspired us to run an Environment Week at our school in Week 9 of Term 2.
Children's Book Council of Australia Book Week Display
Our Library at RBSC has mounted a display of books which have been short listed for awards from the CBCA, together with posters on the theme of “Dreaming with eyes open…”. Our two Year 11 ambassadors, Sophia and Emma, stand ready to encourage other students to begin the “dreaming”.

Wear It Purple Day

MEP Senior Concert and Senior Stage bands Gold Medal
We are delighted to announce that the RBSC MEP Senior Concert and Senior Stage bands were both awarded Gold medals in their events at the ASBOF held at the NSW Conservatorium of Music on Sunday 28 August.
Ultimate Frisbee State Championships
On Monday 29 August, a group of 15 Year 12 boys went to Meadowbank Park to compete in the Senior State Championships of Ultimate Frisbee.

Each term, T4L provides online resources that have some great tech solutions for the classroom.
T4L Kids
T4L Kids magazine is a self-guided independent learning resource created by teachers for students, for class or home. The aim is to provide students with purposeful challenges that engage them in creating content and enhance their problem-solving skills using technology.
In the latest issue students are invited to take the challenge to design, then develop an app for a real-life client, like Transport for NSW. With a guided video brief from their potential client, students will prototype a transport app and take it further by developing it into a real-life app.
More advanced students can code their apps and bring them to life. This challenge comes with guided student resources around app design, inclusive design and tools for coding. They’ll have everything they need to get started on their app adventure.

Installation of Wall Design
Last Friday a new wall design was installed in the undercover seating area in the plaza. A picturesque scene of the beautiful Bondi Beach.
Changes To Uniform Shop Trading Hours
The uniform shop will be closed on the public holiday for the Queen on 22 September, meaning the last trading day for the term is Tuesday 20 September.
