The Rose Bay Secondary College Year 11 and 12 debating team reached the grand final of the Premier’s Debating Challenge last Friday. After an exciting series of knockout debates beginning in term one, 145 teams were reduced to two!

T4L Kids
T4L Kids magazine is a self-guided independent learning resource created by teachers for students, for class or home. The aim is to provide students with purposeful challenges that engage them in creating content and enhance their problem-solving skills using technology.
In the latest issue students are invited to take the challenge to design, then develop an app for a real-life client, like Transport for NSW. With a guided video brief from their potential client, students will prototype a transport app and take it further by developing it into a real-life app.
More advanced students can code their apps and bring them to life. This challenge comes with guided student resources around app design, inclusive design and tools for coding. They’ll have everything they need to get started on their app adventure.

On Monday 29 August, a group of 15 Year 12 boys went to Meadowbank Park to compete in the Senior State Championships of Ultimate Frisbee.
Many years ago, Ms Godby and Ms Buckley held a Year 8 Slam Poetry Competition and discovered a star poet.
We are delighted to announce that the RBSC MEP Senior Concert and Senior Stage bands were both awarded Gold medals in their events at the ASBOF held at the NSW Conservatorium of Music on Sunday 28 August.
On Wednesday 15 June, 12 RBSC students competed in the Sydney East Regional Cross Country at Miranda. The results are as follows:
