With Bondi Beach being in the world-wide media on the weekend I feel compelled to write to our College community to address the need for our students and staff to stay safe during this time. I truly understand that the beach is an integral part of the Eastern Suburbs family life. I also understand the pressure that parents/carers must have felt on the weekend with conditions such as they were and their teenage children wanting to go to the beach with their friends “One last time”. However, the message of social distancing must be adhered to by all in order for it to be effective. I will not repeat all the information in the media that explains why this is important but If you haven’t had the conversation with your child yet about this I would implore you to do so and help them to follow it.
